In this on-site role, you will coordinate the daily delivery of critical mechanical trade services, including HVAC, medical gas and fire systems. Reporting to the Maintenance Operations Manager, you’ll lead a team of 11 internal tradespeople and help deliver safe, responsive and high-quality maintenance outcomes across a complex healthcare environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nThis role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:\nCoordinate daily workloads, schedules and rosters for a team of internal tradespeople.\nOversee mechanical trade services, including HVAC, medical gas and fire systems.\nMonitor team performance and prepare KPI, service-delivery and asset-management reports.\nCoach and support employees while maintaining clear communication, safety and quality standards.\nWork closely with operational leaders and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve services.\nThe position description also identifies responsibility for maintaining work rosters, analysing reports and trends, managing costs, responding to operational issues and supporting continuous improvement.\nWhat You'll Bring\nA relevant mechanical trade qualification, ideally in HVAC.\nStrong scheduling, coordination and organisational capabilities.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills and confidence producing accurate reports and analysing performance data.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive client and stakeholder relationships.\nExperience in a hospital or healthcare environment, or people-management experience, will be highly regarded but is not essential.\nThe position description identifies trade qualifications, experience managing employees in a trade-services environment and healthcare leadership experience as desirable.
