This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, training and mentoring Print Operator I team members, and supporting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nOperate two to three printers simultaneously while maintaining production and quality standards.\nTrain and mentor Print Operator I employees on equipment operation, quality procedures, and safety practices.\nDiagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical failures to minimize downtime.\nLoad and unload paper stock and other materials required for production.\nPerform quality checks and maintain established quality standards.\nMaintain targeted equipment uptime and production efficiency.\nOperate auxiliary software and production systems as instructed.\nPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment.\nCollaborate with team members to maximize productivity and workflow efficiency.\nMaintain accurate production records and documentation as required.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nExperience operating inkjet printers or similar production printing equipment.\nOne to three years of related production, manufacturing, or print experience.\nBasic mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nStrong computer proficiency.\nAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong attention to detail and quality control.\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nBasic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment.\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nFlexible and adaptable in a fast-paced production environment.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds.\nAbility to stand for extended periods, typically 8-12 hours per shift.\nFrequent bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and repetitive movements.\nAbility to work around moving mechanical equipment safely.\nWork Environment\nManufacturing or production facility environment.\nExposure to loud noise and equipment vibration.\nFast-paced production setting with multiple priorities and deadlines.\nRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as applicable.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience training or mentoring production employees.\nExperience with high-volume digital or inkjet printing equipment.\nKnowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and production quality standards.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nDoxim is an equal opportunity employer.
