As the Quickbase environment matures, the role may expand into greater responsibility for the product backlog, platform governance, and technical leadership of additional development resources.\nResponsibilities\nApplication Development & Technical Delivery\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain production-ready Quickbase applications that support operational, financial, and customer-facing workflows.\nDevelop complex relational data models, formulas, automations, forms, reports, dashboards, and role-based user experiences.\nBuild, monitor, and troubleshoot Quickbase Pipelines, REST API integrations, webhooks, and JSON-based data exchanges.\nConvert approved process maps, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into scalable technical solutions.\nDiagnose defects, data-integrity issues, integration failures, and performance problems and implement sustainable corrections.\nProduce realistic development estimates, identify dependencies, and communicate technical risks and delivery constraints early.\nApply disciplined development, testing, release, and rollback practices appropriate for business-critical applications.\nTechnical Architecture & Integration\nHelp define and maintain scalable Quickbase application architecture, including data models, table relationships, permissions, naming conventions, and cross-application standards.\nIntegrate Quickbase with Doxim systems such as Ironsides, ERP, billing, operational tracking, and other enterprise platforms.\nCollaborate with IT to ensure integrations and applications meet Doxim’s cybersecurity, data governance, access-control, auditability, and data-residency requirements.\nIdentify technical debt and recommend when existing applications or workflows should be enhanced, consolidated, rationalized, or rebuilt.\nSupport the controlled retirement of redundant spreadsheets, manual data bridges, shadow tools, and legacy middleware without disrupting active operations.\nTechnical Product Leadership & Delivery Coordination\nWork with designated business and transformation leaders to convert enterprise priorities into an actionable technical backlog.\nParticipate in workflow discovery and challenge requirements that introduce unnecessary complexity, control gaps, or technical risk.\nHelp sequence releases based on business value, operational readiness, technical dependencies, development effort, and risk.\nDemonstrate completed functionality to stakeholders, facilitate structured acceptance testing, and incorporate approved feedback.\nMaintain transparent status, issue, decision, and dependency reporting for business and technical leadership.\nOver time, assume increased responsibility for technical backlog management, platform standards, and coordination of additional development resources.\nPlatform Administration, Documentation & Support\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, data dictionaries, integration specifications, release records, runbooks, and support procedures.\nSupport user provisioning, role administration, application registry maintenance, and platform health reviews in coordination with IT.\nMonitor relevant Quickbase releases and evaluate new capabilities, regression risk, and adoption requirements.\nProvide advanced issue resolution and develop repeatable support practices for business-critical workflows.\nContribute technical content to training and onboarding materials; partner with business process owners on end-user adoption.\nStakeholder Collaboration\nPartner with leaders and subject-matter experts across Operations, Finance, Customer Success, Data Processing, and IT to understand needs and translate them into practical solutions.\nCommunicate technical decisions, tradeoffs, progress, and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nPromote process standardization, data integrity, auditability, and reuse of common platform capabilities across Doxim.\nSuccess Measures - First 12 Months\nPriority Quickbase applications delivered against an approved roadmap and agreed release commitments.\nProduction releases meet documented acceptance criteria, security requirements, and data-integrity expectations.\nCritical integrations are documented and supported by appropriate monitoring, error handling, and recovery procedures.\nMeasurable reduction in application defects, manual workarounds, and recurring data-integrity exceptions within deployed workflows.\nDevelopment standards, documentation practices, testing controls, and release procedures are established and consistently applied.\nEnterprise application architecture is prepared to support additional developers and broader organizational deployment.\nBusiness adoption targets are defined and measured jointly with business process owners for each deployed application.\nSkills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex application, integration, and data issues.\nAbility to translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and practical technical solutions.\nStrong planning and prioritization skills, including estimating development effort, managing competing priorities, and identifying dependencies and risks.\nClear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical decisions and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across functions without direct authority.\nAbility to work independently, exercise sound technical judgment, and take ownership from design through deployment and ongoing support.\nUnderstanding of product lifecycle and agile delivery practices, with a focus on usability, business value, and continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nFive or more years of hands-on Quickbase application development and administration experience.\nDemonstrated experience independently designing and building complex Quickbase applications, including multi-table relational data models, formulas, automations, reports, dashboards, and role-based permissions.\nAdvanced experience with Quickbase Pipelines and practical experience building and troubleshooting REST API integrations, webhooks, JSON data exchanges, and authentication.\nExperience applying secure development, testing, release-control, documentation, and production-support practices to business-critical applications.\nWorking knowledge of backlog management, requirements documentation, acceptance testing, and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.\nAbility to demonstrate Quickbase solutions personally designed and built, using non-confidential examples or a practical demonstration.\nPreferred Qualifications\nRelevant Quickbase certification.\nExperience with ERP, billing, CRM, manufacturing, or operational tracking systems.\nSQL proficiency for data validation, reconciliation, and integration troubleshooting.\nExperience supporting enterprise applications across multiple business units.\nExposure to regulated environments, cybersecurity, audit controls, and data-governance requirements.\nExperience with complementary integration platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier, or equivalent tools.\nPhysical Demands: This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and extensive computer use, including frequent use of a keyboard and mouse.\nTravel: Up to 25%;
