CNS is part of DP World Southampton and, as part of this team, you will work on site.\nLocation: Southampton\nHours: Monday - Friday\nContract: Permanent\nHow You Will Contribute\nLead the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of CNS infrastructure, applications, and DevOps services\nDrive DevOps best practices, automation initiatives, and operational standards across the technology environment\nSupport the development and execution of platform roadmaps and technical improvement plans\nEnsure infrastructure and applications remain secure, scalable, highly available, and performant\nDesign, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions and supporting services\nManage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks and deployment automation\nIdentify opportunities to automate operational processes and reduce manual intervention\nSupport infrastructure optimisation, capacity planning, and cost management activities\nDevelop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery\nSupport release planning, deployment activities, and production implementations\nEnsure deployment processes are repeatable, secure, and aligned with organisational standards\nCollaborate with development teams to improve delivery effectiveness and software quality\nImplement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions across platforms\nInvestigate and resolve complex technical incidents and performance issues\nConduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures\nDrive continuous service improvement through operational insights and system metrics\nAct as a key interface between infrastructure, development, and business teams\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and delivery partners\nSupport technical decision-making and ensure alignment with business objectives\nContribute to project delivery and transformation initiatives across the organisation\nEnsure systems and infrastructure comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements\nSupport vulnerability management, patching, and risk mitigation activities\nContribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience planning\nMaintain technical standards, documentation, and operational procedures\nIdentify emerging technologies and industry best practices that may benefit CNS platforms\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure and software delivery\nParticipate in lessons learned reviews and service improvement activities\nSupport innovation and digital transformation programmes within the organisation\nWhat You Will Bring\nExperience\nSignificant experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.\nExperience leading technical initiatives and supporting business-critical production environments.\nStrong experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.\nExperience managing cloud infrastructure environments (Azure preferred).\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code, automation tooling, and configuration management.\nDemonstrated experience supporting highly available enterprise applications and services.\nExperience working with external technology vendors, third-party providers, and delivery partners.\nSkills\nStrong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies.\nExpertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and deployment automation.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nStrong planning, organisational, and prioritisation capabilities.\nAbility to balance operational support, project delivery, and continuous improvement activities.\nComfortable making technical decisions and providing leadership within complex environments.\nDesirable\nExperience within logistics, ports, customs, freight, or supply chain environments.\nMicrosoft Azure certifications or equivalent cloud certifications.\nExperience with containerisation technologies and orchestration platforms.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices and governance frameworks.\nExperience supporting Agile or hybrid delivery environments.\nCompensation\nDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organisation.
