The role serves as the technical authority for packaging, ensuring that every new or modified product is assessed, validated, and supported by clear and effective Packing Instructions that enable safe, consistent, and repeatable packing operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform First Article Inspections by validating new products against customer packaging specifications. \nCreate, maintain, and continuously improve Packing Instructions for warehouse operations. \nValidate packaging concepts to ensure compliance with customer standards and operational requirements. \nConfigure and maintain packaging-related master data in SAP. \nManage packaging engineering changes, including phase-in, phase-out, and obsolete packaging materials.\nDevelop and implement approved alternative packaging solutions when standard packaging is unavailable. \nAct as the primary technical contact for packaging-related topics with customer representatives. \nSupport the introduction of new packaging processes by providing technical guidance to warehouse operations. \nCollaborate with Packaging Planning, Operations, Quality, and other stakeholders to implement packaging solutions. Identify opportunities to optimize packaging\n performance, material utilization, and packaging costs. \nMaintain accurate packaging documentation and ensure effective document control.\nYour Profile:\nProven experience in packaging engineering, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing environments.\nExperience with packaging validation, First Article Inspection (FAI), and packaging implementation processes.\nHands-on experience creating, maintaining, and updating technical work instructions, packaging specifications, and operational documentation.\nExperience with SAP master data management or comparable ERP systems.\nDemonstrated ability to implement engineering changes while ensuring operational continuity and minimal disruption to business processes.\nExperience interpreting and working with customer requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.\nProven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environmentFluent in Czech and English; additional languages are an advantage \n\nWhat we offer\nDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
