You will also drive cross-functional optimisation and the implementation of best practices, working closely with Operations, Engineering & Facilities, Commercial, Finance and other functional teams, ensuring that projects, processes and systems are aligned with operational requirements, DP World standards, DPWL HSEQ and the Company’s strategic business objectives.\nYour Responsibilities:\nLeading, planning and delivering operations, engineering and systems-related projects, ensuring clear scope, milestones, resources, risks and timely execution.\nCoordinating with internal stakeholders, external partners and DP World global teams to ensure project objectives, operational needs and strategic priorities are met.\nPreparing project documentation, progress reports, risk assessments and executive updates to support informed and timely decision-making.\nIdentifying and mitigating project and operational risks proactively, helping to prevent delays, disruptions and unplanned downtime.\nAnalysing workflows and processes across engineering, facilities, operations, finance, commercial and support functions to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.\nDesigning and implementing optimised processes, including process mapping, SOPs and KPI-driven performance frameworks, using continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma where appropriate.\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance throughput, reduce downtime and operational costs, and improve productivity, service quality and transparency.\nOverseeing the evaluation, implementation, optimisation and adoption of digital tools, ERP/CRM modules, operational systems, CAD software and reporting platforms.\nSupporting teams in adopting new systems through training, troubleshooting and clear documentation of system-related procedures.\nDeveloping dashboards, KPIs, reports and analyses covering project milestones, operational performance, risks, costs and improvement opportunities.\nActing as a key liaison between Operations, Engineering & Facilities, internal departments, senior management, DP World global teams, customers, suppliers and external partners.\nEnsuring compliance with Company policies, ISO requirements, DP World global standards, DPWL HSEQ, local regulations and safe systems of work, while supporting audits, documentation and quality assurance activities.\nYour Profile:\nCompleted Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.\nRegistered member of the Cyprus Technical Chamber (ETEK).\nMinimum 2 years of previous project management experience within a similar environment (logistics, manufacturing, construction, etc.).\nProfessional qualification in a continuous improvement methodology, such as Six Sigma, is considered an advantage.\nExperience using root cause analysis methodologies and tools, such as 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa diagrams, FMEA or similar problem-solving frameworks, would be considered an advantage.\nFamiliarity with digital tools and platforms used to support operational visibility, performance monitoring and process improvement.\nExcellent command of both English and Greek, written and spoken, is essential.\nFull, valid driving licence.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to conduct structured root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.\nStrategic thinker, able to balance hands-on problem-solving with high-level planning and long-term decision-making.\nStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.\nAbility to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously in a dynamic and demanding operational environment.\nResilient approach to change management, with the ability to lead and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.\nCompensation\nDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
