This role plays a key part in assuring the quality and reliability of solutions delivered through the programme, ensuring system enhancements, integrations, data migration activities, and billing processes are thoroughly tested and meet business requirements.\nYou’ll work closely with the QA Lead, business SMEs, development teams, and wider project stakeholders to execute testing activities, validate data, manage defects, and support quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, a structured approach, and the ability to work effectively across both technical and business teams.\nThis position is ideal for someone with QA, testing, or system validation experience who enjoys working in fast-paced transformation environments and wants to contribute directly to the successful delivery of high-quality systems and business processes.\nLocation: Southampton\nContract: 2 Year FTC\nHow you will contribute\nExecute test cases across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.\nSupport validation of end-to-end business processes and system functionality.\nRecord, maintain, and document test results accurately and consistently.\nPerform data validation and reconciliation between legacy and new systems.\nSupport verification of billing outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nIdentify discrepancies, risks, and issues, escalating where appropriate.\nLog, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.\nEnsure defects are clearly documented to support timely resolution.\nSupport retesting and validation of defect fixes.\nAssist with the preparation of test data, scenarios, and test scripts.\nSupport test environment setup, readiness activities, and maintenance of test artefacts.\nGuide and support business SMEs during UAT execution.\nAssist in coordinating testing activities across project teams where required.\nProvide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and outcomes.\nMaintain QA documentation, reports, and testing records.\nContribute to QA governance, testing standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat you will bring\nExperience in QA, testing, or system validation roles.\nExperience executing test cases and supporting SIT and UAT activities.\nUnderstanding of data validation, reconciliation, and testing processes.\nExperience working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders.\nExperience within finance, billing, or data-intensive environments is advantageous.\nExposure to performance testing would be beneficial.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nProactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and testing activities.\nStrong organisational skills with a structured way of working.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to support business users through testing activities.\nWillingness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced delivery environment.\nCompensation\nDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
