In addition, to lead and execute corporate special / adhoc\nprojects as requested by the Regional Finance Manager/Director.\nKey Role Responsibilities:\nBusiness\nProviding support to the BU Heads, in administering Operational controls for smooth conduct of business\n Support the BU Heads, with BU presentations\n Cost control and recommendations for optimizing costs\n Ensuring change initiatives are thoroughly implemented and understood by all stakeholders\nFinance Operations & Control:\n Ensuring compliances with statutory matters\n Handling internal and risk compliance\n Ensure submission and audit of annual financial statements for the BUs within the statutory timelines\n Handle monthly book and annual book closure and reporting within the timelines as provided by\nCorporate;\n Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounts and financial reporting\n Regular monitoring and detailed review of all financial numbers and balances for the Bus\n Review monthly reconciliations of inter-company balances and other balance sheet items\n Liaise with Internal/external auditors and satisfactory resolution of audit issues, if any\n Maintain all accounting reconciliations and other review and work papers in an organised manner on\nthe POML shared drive\nTreasury & Forex Management:\n Ensure effective cash flow management at all times Operational forex risk monitoring\n Manage Working Capital\n Collections and receivables specifically the one with potential risk.\nRisk Management & Compliance\n Enhance risk management and monitoring\n Ensure foreseen risks are identified, effectively managed and/or escalated\n Ensure compliance to policies and procedures, IFRS and auditing standards.\nBugdet and Business Plan\n Lead the preparation of the BUs budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that\nthe business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are\nidentified and adequately addressed in a timely manner and potential performance improvement\nopportunities are capitalized upon\n Analysis in detail the financial variances to budgets and forecasts for P&L and Balance Sheet\n Support the BU heads in the process of planning, budget and control\n Maintain all budget work papers and other review and presentation files in an organised manner on the\nPOML shared drive.\nAP AR Experience\n Accounts Payable (AP) Policy & Controls: Ensure adherence to AP policies, approval workflows, and\ncompliance with accounting and tax regulations. Invoice Processing & Accuracy: Oversee timely and\naccurate invoice verification, coding, and booking with proper approvals. Payment Management: Plan\nand execute vendor payments in line with cash flow priorities and agreed terms. Vendor Management:\nMaintain vendor master data, resolve queries, and ensure smooth vendor relationship management.\nReporting & Reconciliation: Prepare AP aging reports, perform vendor reconciliations, and ensure\naccurate month-end accruals.\n Accounts Receivable Credit Control: Monitor customer credit limits and terms to minimize\nrisk and ensure timely collections. Billing & Collections: Ensure accurate invoicing and drive proactive\ncollection efforts to reduce overdue receivables. Cash Application: Oversee timely posting of customer\nreceipts and resolve unapplied cash issues promptly. Dispute Management: Investigate and resolve\nbilling disputes quickly to maintain customer relationships and prevent write-offs.
