Site Manager
The role
DP World are looking for a site manager to help manage and lead a new warehouse for the Toplocany region. The role is to lead the successful handover and operations of the warehouse and move from initial launch to an operational delivery that meets with the client's expectations.
You will have full accountability of the site's operational performance, financial outcomes, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for the initial handover of the site making sure that continuation of service is kept up as well adherence to quality and safety standards and a seamless integration to DP World regional and global standards.
Initially you will act as the key point of contact with the project team to help deliver the service level agreements for the plant through the TUPE activity and integrating current process with DP World standards. As the role develops you will be working with your leadership team to make sure that the plant is delivering all that is expected as well as finding continuous improvements to make the site more efficient.
You will manage the P&L for the site to make sure that financial expectations are being met and balanced with the customer expectation for delivery and quality. You will be leading a senior team who will be managing the day to day operations of the site and you will work with them to help deliver your long term strategy.
So, who are we looking for?
- Extensive experience of leading logistics or manufacturing operations in a medium to large site
- A strong background in senior management roles and the ability to lead a small team to deliver ambitious goals
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- The ability to manage complex operations and drive results under pressure
- Strong stakeholder skills and the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Slovak is essential
