- Hours of Work: 04:30 -13:00
This is a fast-paced role for someone who can think on their feet. This isn’t your standard warehouse role, we are looking for someone who will play a critical role in our DPD operation. We need someone who is keen to develop their managerial skills and lead their team to performance.
Key Duties Include:
- Planning routes for drivers, ensuring they are achievable and KPI’s are within target
- Managing drivers and assisting them get set up in the morning to ensure they have the best day on the road
- Developing your own management style and skills and putting them to practice
- Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
- Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
- Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
- Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
