This role focuses on building and maintaining the environments that software teams rely on, including Linux systems, virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, and supporting compute, network, and storage infrastructure.\nYou’ll work with Ansible, Rancher, Kubernetes, RGS, and hypervisor solutions to automate configuration, manage platform services, and keep development, test, and operational environments running reliably. The work includes hands-on administration, troubleshooting, infrastructure modernization, and technical documentation.\nWhat You Will Do\nBuild, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.\nDevelop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to automate provisioning, configuration, patching, and repeatable administrative tasks.\nDeploy and support Kubernetes clusters using Rancher and RKE2.\nConfigure and maintain hypervisors and virtual machines, including resource allocation, provisioning, and performance troubleshooting.\nSupport RGS and its integration with the program’s infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot issues across Linux, virtualization, containers, networking, and storage.\nWork with software and security teams to support deployments, apply security controls, and resolve platform issues.\nMaintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and operational procedures.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related STEM field, with 5+ years of relevant experience.
