Assists in developing basic electrical layouts and system documentation using fundamental knowledge of electrical principles and codes. Collaborates with engineers, modelers, and detailers to produce accurate 2D and 3D electrical models using CAD tools while learning industry standards and design practices. Supports construction administration activities as directed.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssists in the production of electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations with tasks that are specific and clearly defined.\nSupports development of basic electrical layouts and system documentation using foundational knowledge of electrical codes and standards.\nPerforms basic electrical calculations and drafting tasks with guidance from engineers and senior designers.\nSupports construction administration activities, including shop drawing review and response to RFIs, under supervision.\nUtilizes CAD software and related tools to create 2D drawings and assist with 3D electrical modeling.\nCollaborates with engineers, modelers, and detailers to support timely and coordinated project delivery.\nIncorporates feedback and guidance to build technical skills and improve design quality.\nEducation Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.\nWork Experience:\nNo experience required.\nCertifications and Licenses:\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in progress or intent to pursue preferred.\nDPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
