Success is not just about what we build, but who we build and how we build it: with integrity, enjoyment, uniqueness and an ever-forward mindset.\nJob Summary:\nOversees commissioning operations within a business unit, managing personnel, processes, and project-level execution to ensure systems meet design and operational performance objectives. Develops and implements commissioning strategies that align with DPR’s standards, client requirements, and project delivery goals. Provides leadership, direction, and technical guidance to commissioning teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across projects. Collaborates closely with project, quality, and MEP leadership to support commissioning planning, risk management, and system turnover.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversees execution of commissioning programs within the business unit, ensuring alignment with company standards and project delivery expectations.\nManages commissioning personnel, including assigning work, providing performance feedback, supporting professional development and making talent decisions.\nDevelops project-specific commissioning plans and ensures consistent application of commissioning processes, tools and standards across assigned projects.\nReviews and approves test documentation, commissioning reports and system turnover packages for completeness, accuracy and compliance with design and operational criteria.\nCoordinates with project executives, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) leads, quality teams and clients to address commissioning risks, schedule impacts and integrated system testing requirements and maintains client relationships to ensure alignment with project objectives.\nAnalyzes commissioning performance data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and implements best practices across the business unit.\nSupports pursuit and preconstruction activities by defining commissioning scope, estimating resources and contributing to proposal documentation.\nEducation Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.\nWork Experience:\n7-9 years of experience in commissioning, MEP coordination, building systems design, or a related field required.\n1-2 years of experience managing or supervising commissioning or MEP coordination staff required.\nCertifications and Licenses:\nNone required.\nCertified Commissioning Professional (CCP), Accredited Commissioning Process Authority (CxA), or LEED Accredited Professional preferred.\nDPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
