Collaborates with colleagues to identify risks and recommend practical solutions that enhance operational safety. Applies working knowledge to monitor compliance and contribute to ongoing EHS improvement efforts. Communicates effectively with employees to encourage engagement in EHS initiatives. Enhances workplace efficiency by ensuring adherence to established EHS protocols and standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConducts routine and non-routine site inspections and risk assessments independently, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions.\nAssists in the development and delivery of standard EHS training for staff.\nMaintains accurate records of incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.\nSupports investigations of incidents independently by gathering data and preparing reports.\nMonitors the safe management of specific project strategies to ensure safe practices.\nCommunicates EHS policies and procedures to promote understanding and compliance.\nParticipates in team meetings to share insights and support safety initiatives.\nEducation Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or associates degree in environmental science, occupational health, safety management, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.\nWork Experience:\n2 - 4 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or a related field required.\nCertifications and Licenses:\nOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction training required.\nFirst Aid (FA) certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification, or Naloxone Administration (Narcan) certification preferred.\nSafety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) certification preferred.\nOSHA 500 preferred.\nDPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
