Guides others in interpreting complex financial data and implementing leading practices in compliance with related regulations and standards. Leads the development and execution of financial reporting processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of organizational financial statements. Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Strengthens internal controls and reporting frameworks to support transparency, compliance, and risk management.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLeads, manages, and develops a team of financial reporting individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.\nProvides insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial trends, variances, and performance metrics.\nCoordinates with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests and effective resolution of findings.\nImplements and maintains robust internal controls and reporting processes to mitigate risk and ensure data integrity.\nPrepare and present financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership and board-level reviews.\nEnsures timely submission of all required financial reports to regulatory agencies and leadership.\nMonitors changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, updating policies and procedures as necessary to maintain compliance.\nEducation Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience required.\nWork Experience:\n7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field required.\n1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity required.\nCertifications and Licenses:\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification required.\nChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred.\nSuccessful completion of a background check is required.\nDPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
