Maintains confidentiality and compliance in handling sensitive payroll data, supporting a culture of integrity and accountability. Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies, fostering positive employee experiences. Applies knowledge of relevant regulations and company policies to minimize risk and support consistent payroll practices.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProcesses payroll transactions, including wage calculations, deductions, and adjustments, in accordance with established schedules.\nVerifies timekeeping records and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.\nResponds to questions regarding pay, deductions, and related matters, providing clear and timely information.\nMaintains up-to-date payroll records and documentation in accordance with data privacy and retention requirements.\nReviews payroll reports for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies before final submission.\nApplies knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.\nAssists in internal and external audits by preparing required payroll documentation and responding to information requests.\nEducation Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.\nWork Experience:\n2 - 4 years of experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, or a related field required.\nCertifications and Licenses:\nFundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.\nThis role will have a heavy focus on Certified Payroll.\nAnticipated pay range:\n$65,000.00- $93,000.00\nDPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
