Provides advanced expertise in payroll administration, reconciliations, and reporting. Partners with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve payroll issues and implement process improvements. Serves as a subject matter expert and resource for Payroll Specialists and Coordinators.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProcesses and reviews multi-state payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws.\nAudits wage calculations, deductions, and adjustments to maintain data accuracy and consistency.\nReconciles payroll accounts and coordinates with Finance and people practices teams on discrepancies.\nInterprets and applies payroll policies, tax regulations, and garnishment requirements.\nPrepares complex payroll and compliance reports for management review and audits.\nProvides guidance and training to Payroll Specialists and Coordinators.\nRecommends and supports implementation of payroll process improvements and automation initiatives.\nEducation Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.\nWork Experience:\n5-7 years of experience in payroll administration or multi-state payroll processing required.\nCertifications and Licenses:\nFundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.\nThis role will have a heavy focus on tax and 401k administration.\nDPR Construction is a forward-thinking, self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
