This is a hands-on EC&I role where you’ll be responsible for keeping critical electrical, control and instrumentation systems operating safely, reliably and in full compliance with GMP, COMAH and ATEX requirements.\nThis is an onsite role 08:00 to 16:30 (Mon to Fri)\nYou’ll play a vital part in maintaining production continuity, supporting site safety, protecting asset integrity and contributing to the delivery of life-saving medicines.\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance and manage work orders in SAP CMMS.\nRespond to breakdowns, troubleshooting and resolving electrical, control and instrumentation faults quickly and effectively.\nMaintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution systems, motor control centres, control panels, drives and field devices.\nInspect, test and maintain electrical installations in line with statutory requirements and site procedures.\nCarry out calibration, verification and maintenance of process instrumentation and critical site instruments.\nSupport PLC, HMI, SCADA and industrial control systems, assisting with fault diagnosis and minor modifications where authorised.\nMaintain and update electrical drawings, loop drawings, schematics, SOPs, manuals, calibration records and equipment documentation.\nWork safely under permit-to-work systems, electrical isolation, Lockout/Tagout and site RAMS requirements.\nOperate, maintain and routinely test critical site systems including fire detection, fire pumps, deluge systems, purified water systems and critical process equipment.\nSupport commissioning, qualification and small-scale engineering projects.\nEnsure all maintenance, calibration and inspection activities meet GMP standards and are fully documented.\nWork closely with contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed safely, compliantly and to site standards.\n NVQ Level 3, recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or a related discipline.\nCity & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.\nCompEx Ex01-Ex04 Gas and Ex05-Ex06 Dust qualifications.\nExperience working on industrial electrical systems, process instrumentation and control systems.\nIPAF certification for MEWP operation.\nWorking knowledge of permit-to-work systems, electrical isolation and Lockout/Tagout requirements.\nInspection and Testing qualification, such as City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent, would be desirable.\nPLC fault-finding experience, with Siemens experience preferred.\nExperience within pharmaceutical, COMAH, ATEX or highly regulated manufacturing environments would be advantageous.\nConfined Space Entry and Standby Person training would be desirable.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong electrical and instrumentation fault-finding and problem-solving ability.\nAbility to interpret and update electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings and control system documentation.\nFamiliarity with SAP CMMS or similar maintenance management systems.\nCalibration and instrumentation experience.\nKnowledge of PLCs, variable speed drives and industrial control systems.\nExcellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nRoot cause analysis and structured problem-solving capability.\nTeam player with strong communication skills across engineering, operations, quality and external contractors.\nConfidence in supporting audits, inspections and regulatory assessments.\nAbility to prioritise work safely and effectively in a live manufacturing environment.\n Benefits\nWe offer competitive salary and comprehensive benefits like\nDefined contribution pension scheme\nLife assurance\nPrivate health insurance for self and family\nSickness Absence\nIncome Protection Scheme\nTravel Insurance- Business and Personal\nSports and Health club membership fee reimbursement\nCycle to work scheme\nEnhanced Maternity / Paternity leave\nOur Work Culture\nAsk any employee at Dr. Reddy’s why they come to work every day and they’ll say, because Good Health Can’t Wait.
