The role will involve evaluating product and portfolio performance, analysing financial trends, identifying key business drivers and providing actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.\nHe/she will also be responsible for managing the annual Product R&D Budget, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking of actual spends and preparation of Monthly Latest Estimates (LE). The incumbent will work closely with relevant business and functional stakeholders to understand key cost drivers, monitor budget utilisation, analyse variances against plan and highlight potential risks and opportunities. The role will also support the preparation and evaluation of business plans, forecasts and financial scenarios to enable informed resource allocation decisions.\nIn addition, the role requires the incumbent to take ownership of various Finance Digitalisation and Analytics initiatives, with a focus on improving the efficiency, accuracy and accessibility of financial information. This will include supporting the development and continuous improvement of finance dashboards, automating recurring reporting and analytical activities, and ensuring the accuracy and timely upkeep of financial metrics across relevant dashboards.\nThe incumbent will be expected to work with large and diverse datasets, develop meaningful financial and business insights, and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
