The Customer Economics team sits within the Marketing Analytics organization, powering acquisition-cost models and valuation frameworks that underpin how DraftKings invests in growth. You’ll dive into data to uncover patterns, steer revenue-driving strategies, and help cross-functional teams bring our models to life. From optimizing promotional impact to guiding retention strategies, you’ll play a pivotal role in making our customer experience more intelligent, predictive, and durable.\nWhat you'll do as an Analyst I, Customer Economics\nBuild and deploy predictive models that forecast customer behavior and drive revenue outcomes.\nTranslate complex model outputs into scalable solutions that teams across DraftKings can activate.\nLead deep-dive analyses and cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Finance, etc. to turn insights into action across the business.\nUse data and industry insights to uncover growth opportunities and elevate our modeling strategy.\nCreate automated tools, analyses, and dashboards that measure and communicate customer performance.\nAnalyze customer retention and gameplay trends to inform marketing investments and vertical strategies.\nPartner with Data Science and Data Engineering to apply best-in-class practices using tools like Databricks, Airflow, and Bitbucket.\nWhat you'll bring\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.\nAt least 1 year of experience in business analytics or data science.\nExposure to data science principles, including machine learning, regression techniques, and model evaluation. Familiarity with tools like Databricks, Airflow, and Bitbucket is a plus.\nAbility to leverage AI tools to turn our data into actionable recommendations with repeatable frameworks\nPractical experience with SQL/Snowflake and dashboarding tools.
