You’ll work across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, with a strong focus on network reliability, automation, scalability, and security. Partnering with engineering teams, you’ll improve how we build, deploy, monitor, and operate our infrastructure while solving complex networking and production challenges. You’ll also help shape technical direction and strengthen engineering practices as our systems continue to scale.\nWhat you’ll do as a Lead DevOps Engineer\nDesign and support network infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.\nBuild and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.\nAutomate infrastructure and network operations using infrastructure as code.\nManage routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.\nMonitor and improve system and network performance, reliability, and security.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex network and production issues.\nStrengthen DevOps, networking, and automation practices across engineering teams.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.\nWhat you’ll bring\nAt least 5 years of DevOps, infrastructure, or network engineering experience.\nCloud networking experience across AWS, GCP, and hybrid data center connectivity \nExperience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.\nStrong experience with routing, switching, VPNs, BGP, and firewalls, including hands-on experience with FortiGate, Aruba, and hybrid network environments. \nProven experience with infrastructure as code, Git-based workflows (GitOps), and advanced scripting in Python and Bash.\nProven ability to architect, build, and scale complex network infrastructure. \nExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana Stack.\nA strong track record of mentoring engineers, leading change and design reviews, and driving high-impact technical decisions across cross-functional teams.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with familiarity using AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude, Codex, or Gemini.\nJoin Our Team\nWe’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston.
