Through your technical leadership, you’ll help shape the future of our engineering infrastructure while raising the bar for operational excellence.\nWhat you’ll do as a Lead Platform Engineer\nLead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of critical platform systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.\nGuide and mentor engineers through technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices to drive high-quality solutions.\nDevelop and optimize scalable applications and services using C# and .NET Core.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define technical priorities, align on milestones, and deliver enhancements to existing platforms.\nBuild and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and Bamboo to accelerate software delivery.\nApply DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices to automate application deployments and cloud infrastructure management.\nDrive improvements in system reliability and operational efficiency by troubleshooting complex issues and implementing long-term solutions.\nWhat you’ll bring\nAt least 5 years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET Core.\nAt least 2 years of experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and driving cross-functional technical initiatives.\nDeep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture, with experience designing scalable and resilient applications.\nStrong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and modern deployment strategies, including canary and blue-green deployments.\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with knowledge of DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps methodologies.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience diagnosing complex system issues, supporting on-call operations, and maintaining platform reliability.\nEffective communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across teams, influence technical decisions, and mentor fellow engineers.\nJoin Our Team\nWe’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston.
