Using C#/.NET, Kubernetes, GitOps, and cloud technologies, you’ll solve complex infrastructure challenges, improve developer workflows, and create scalable, automated platform solutions that support our growing products.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and maintain platform capabilities used by engineering teams across DraftKings.\n\nDevelop clean, scalable, and maintainable software, primarily using C# and .NET Core.\n\nBuild and improve platform infrastructure through software engineering and automation to enable reliable and efficient application delivery.\n\nManage and enhance Kubernetes-based environments, including automating deployments using Helm Charts.\n\nApply GitOps practices to improve deployment automation, consistency, and reliability.\n\nBuild solutions for distributed systems and microservice environments with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and performance.\n\nTroubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues across distributed environments.\n\nPartner with engineering teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\n\nConduct code reviews, contribute to engineering best practices, and mentor other engineers.\n\nImprove observability, performance testing, deployment strategies, and operational excellence across the platform.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n4+ years of professional software development experience, ideally with experience in C# and .NET Core.\n\nExperience building and supporting distributed systems and microservice architectures.\n\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern application deployment practices.\n\nStrong software engineering fundamentals and an understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues across complex distributed environments.\n\nUnderstanding of modern deployment strategies, including canary and blue-green deployments.\n\nFamiliarity with GitOps methodologies and infrastructure and application deployment automation.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.\n\nFamiliarity with observability platforms such as Datadog and the ELK Stack.\n\nExperience with end-to-end performance testing at scale is a plus.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\n\nJoin Our Team\nWe’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston.
