If safeguarding the systems that protect your family, friends, and community is the kind of work that matters to you, you are in the right place. \nAbout the Role:\nThe Accounting Manager leads the accounting operations of Dragos PublicSector subsidiary (DPS),ensuring accuratefinancial records, timelyreporting, and compliance with GAAP, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and government contracting requirements. This rolehas responsibility for thesubsidiary's month-end close, financial reporting, revenue recognition, audit support, timekeeping compliance, and internal controls, while partnering across finance, contracts, and operations. \nThe role will report to theGeneralManager of Federal. \nResponsibilities: \nLead all accounting operations for the U.S. government subsidiary \nOwn the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes \nPrepare and review financial statements and management reporting \nManage revenue recognition under ASC 606, including identification of performance obligations and allocation of standalone selling price \nOversee timekeeping and labor distribution in compliance with government contracting requirements \nEnsure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, FAR, and applicable government cost accounting standards \nManage external audits and coordinate with auditors in accordance withGAAS \nEstablish and maintaininternal controls over financial reporting \nManage the general ledger, account reconciliations, and journal entries \nSupport indirect rate calculations and cost pool managementif needed in the future \nAdminister and maintainaccounting systems (Unanet, NetSuite, Salesforce) and ensure data integrity \nSupport contract setup, billing, and revenue tracking in Unanet and Salesforce \nPartner with the VP of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis \nManage, mentor, and develop accounting staff \nLead process improvements and automation initiatives \nEnsure compliance with tax and regulatory filing requirements \nMaintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and contract information \nSupport special projects as assigned \nQualifications: \n6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience \nExperience with U.S. government contract accounting and compliance (FAR, DCAA, cost accounting standards) \nStrong knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) \nExperience with revenue recognition under ASC 606, including standalone selling price and performance obligations \nExperience managing external audits and working with auditors \nExperience with government timekeeping and labor compliance \nProficiencywith Unanet, Salesforce, and NetSuite required \nExperience with Navan and Concur preferred \nAdvanced MS Excel skills; proficiencyin Word \nStrong leadership, communication, and analytical skills \nAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and meet deadlines \nCompensation: \nSalary: $125,000\nCompetitive Equity Package \nComprehensive Benefits Plan \n#LI-MM1 #LI-REMOTE \nDragos is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other basis forbidden under federal, state, or local laws.
