If safeguarding the systems that protect your family, friends, and community is the kind of work that matters to you, you are in the right place. \nAbout the Role:\nAs an IT System Administrator, you will keep Dragos's systems, networks, and end-user environments secure, available, and well-documented. You will work directly with The IT team to maintain infrastructure, support employees, and improve how IT operates. The role is hybrid. You will work on-site in Maryland a few days each week and remotely the rest. \nResponsibilities: \nInstall, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network equipment across Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments\nAdminister Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access \nMonitor system performance, availability, and capacity, and resolve issues quickly \nManage patching and vulnerability remediation across systems and endpoints\nMaintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes, and test them on a regular schedule \nProvide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for hardware, software, and network issues \nHandle employee onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, equipment, and permissions \nEnforce security controls such as endpoint protection, MFA, and least-privilege access, in line with Dragos security policy \nDocument systems, configurations, and procedures accurately \nTrack IT assets, licenses, and vendor relationships \nAutomate routine tasks where it saves time and reduces error \nQualifications: \n1-3 years of experience in systems administration or a similar IT role\nStrong working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory \nHands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune) \nSolid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls \nExperience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and backup solutions \nStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently \nDirect, clear communication and a service-oriented approach to supporting users \nAbility to work on-site in Maryland several days each week \nBachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent experience\nCertifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft MS-102 or AZ-104, or MCSA/MCSE, preferred\nScripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash, preferred\nLinux administration and cloud platform experience (Azure or AWS) preferred\nFamiliarity with ITIL, SOC 2, NIST, or similar frameworks, preferred\nInterest in OT/ICS or critical infrastructure security \nCompensation: \nSalary: $68,000\nCompetitive Equity Package \nComprehensive Benefits Plan \n#LI-MM1 #LI-REMOTE \nDragos is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other basis forbidden under federal, state, or local laws.
