A commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defense as well as Helicopters Divisions, they are the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe and a worldwide leader.\nEssential Functions:\nFlammability Certification and Compliance: 70%\nEnsure aircraft type design complies with type certification requirements for cabin and cargo material flammability.\nSupport the creation of compliance statements in support of major projects.\nDefine certification requirements to support aircraft modification in accordance with customer requests.\nReview and approve Airbus internal and vendor test plans and reports, including witnessing testing as required.\nAlign industry guidance with Airbus flammability compliance methods and harmonize methodology within the organization.\nProvide solutions to issues arising during certification projects and provide accurate reporting/forecasting of technical activity to Management.\nStakeholder and Supplier Management: 20%\nCoordinate with suppliers during the development phase of equipment to ensure compliance with Airbus requirements.\nProvide input and feedback on certification matters between equipment suppliers, customers, and Airbus engineering organizations.\nStrong liaison with other departments both internally and internationally. \nIndustry Engagement and Digitalization Efforts: 10%\nParticipate in industry working group activity to stay aligned with global standards. \nLead digitalization improvement projects within engineering teams, develop efficient methods to automate work and processes.\nParticipate in activities to utilize AI in daily work and processes.\nRequirements\nMinimum three (3) years plus experience in aircraft compliance experience.\nBachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) \nProficiency in Google Suites Products.\nAbility to write reports, technical memorandums, interface agreements, and work statements using high-level technical English\nProficient level of the English language.\nDemonstrates ability to communicate effectively in an international setting that resolves problems, facilitates consensus, and focuses on objectives.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, compliance documentation, and technical
