Our team members are motivated individuals that do remarkable things every day!\nPosition Summary:\nAAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Jupiter, Florida that is a leading aftermarket service provider for multi-platform OEM gas turbine power plants worldwide.\nThe Technician I-INA is responsible for maintaining and repairing utility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.\nEssential Functions:\nPerforms engraving, buffing, grinding, polishing, and touch up grinding on components or coatings using various tools and equipment per specification\nPerforms sandblasting on components during reconditioning process per specification\nUtilizes precision measuring equipment as required to check work\nAssists operators in setting up equipment\nOperates cleaning process machines such as the ultrasonic or the hot water wash\nOperate other process specific equipment as required\nOperates small cranes and fork-lifts to move equipment, parts, and material\nQuality check of the performed work before operation step confirmation\nPreparation/confirmation of the required quality documentation\nReporting and monitoring of used production time per production step\nCarrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and tools\nKeeping the working environment and machines in a clean and proper condition\n Following Environmental Health and Safety regulations\nPerforming waste handling in accordance to EHS procedures & legal requirements, such as:\nSegregating waste generated\nPlacing hazardous and non-hazardous waste in appropriate containers\nMaintaining waste containers closed and in good condition\nLabeling waste containers with appropriate hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste labels\nMarking the start accumulation date to hazardous waste label once the container in the satellite accumulation area becomes full.\nArranging internal waste transfer to central accumulation area\nContain and clean up area incidental spills\nContinually improving operations and the working environment\nIndependently carry out all assigned technician work during the reconditioning process\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nComplete specific on-the-job training towards meeting essential duties and work area performance criteria.\nMust complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix, which includes:\no Initial and annual Hazardous Waste Management training.\n2+ years of experience in a production or maintenance environment\n 2+ years of experience of manufacturing experience with the specific skills in one of the following disciplines preferred: grinding, blending coatings, coatings application, coatings removal (strip line), blasting, heat treat, machining or welding\n2+ years of experience with interpretation of technical drawings or work instructions preferred\nComprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes\nBasic knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP, and time keeping applications\nMust be a detailed oriented, high energy, self-starter with the ability to drive the successful completion of projects within specified time frames\nStrong oral communication skills required\nStrong quality and customer focus\nProcess and Team oriented;
