The Billing and Collections Analyst I should have adequate attention to detail and strive to meet tight deadlines. Provide value added service to our internal/external partners. Job Description:\nDuties/Responsibilities\nWork collaboratively with team members to support Government and Commercial Customer Bills (Cost Types, Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price, and Performance Based Payments)\nTimely produce and deliver customer billings for assigned contracts\nPerforms collection of receivables\nContinually monitor and update customer interaction documentation in support of collections\nInvestigate and resolve any reconciliation issues\nDevelop a collaborative working relationship with other departments (Contracts, Business Analysts, General Ledger, Program Finance, Programs, Accounts Payable, etc.)\nWork under tight time constraints due to departmental and contractual deadlines\nCollaboratively work in a team oriented environment\nCommunicate to Manager on issues and provides updates\nTimely and accurately set up billing plans\nOther duties and projects as assigned\nSkills/Abilities\nDetail oriented\nAbility to adapt to changes in workflow\nProficient Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to analyze data to make informed decisions\nThrive in results-driven team culture\nKnowledge of electronic billing procedures\nFamiliarity with Government regulations.\nEducation:\nBachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required\nExperience:\n3-5 years of Government billing experience, ERP experience preferred ( PeopleSoft, Oracle, IPP, WAWF, Data Warehouse)\nAdditional Job Description:\nApplicants selected for this position may be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.\nConnect With Draper for Future Opportunities!
