For more information about Draper, visit www.draper.com.\nJob Description Summary:\nThe Classified Systems Administrator 2 supports the day-to-day activities of users, performs system maintenance and upkeep of Information Technology systems, and develops, deploys and documents IT Infrastructure. Duties include data administration, knowledge management, customer service, technical support, network services, system administration and systems security analysis. Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains server configurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Additionally, the System Administrator 2 manages accounts, firewalls, patches, and is responsible for implementing access control, resetting passwords, creating accounts, and performing general administration tasks.This role is located on site in Cambridge, MA.\nJob Description:\nDuties/Responsibilities\nSupport and maintain IT infrastructure systems (e.g. servers, workstations, switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, encryption devices)\n\nMaintain and update documentation, including standard operating procedures, network drawings, and configuration documentation\n\nConduct reviews and technical inspections to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses ensure security compliance is implemented and that all necessary systems are functional\n\nProvide resolutions to an assortment of customer defined problems of moderately complex scope using knowledge and resources to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
