Candidate will require expert knowledge to assist and operate, maintain, and troubleshooting facility equipment. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing technical documentation (calibration, preventive maintenance, drawings, and procedures).The candidate will be responsible for picking up and delivering test equipment, data, office supplies, and custodial supplies as needed. The ability to work and succeed within a process-oriented setting is critical, as is the ability to thoroughly document and communicate one’s work.\nCandidate will primarily support environmental test work in Cambridge, MA but may occasionally be required to support testing in Bedford, MA. Occasional support on evenings and weekends will be needed.\nJob Description:\nDuties/Responsibilities\nPerforms cleaning, maintenance, and or calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision.\nOperates complex equipment in the production of hardware using complex manual skills with training and limited supervision..\nDocuments their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision.\nPerforms focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor.\nOther temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor. Skills/Abilities\nAble to communicate written and verbally.\nAble to use Microsoft office applications.\nAble to perform manual labor and operate automated and semi-automated equipment.\nEducation\nGraduate from a 2 year technical school or 2 years applicable experience.\nExperience\nEither two years of applicable technical education and two years of applicable experience or four years of applicable experience meets the minimum requirement.\nAdditional Job Description:\nExperience supporting electro-mechanical systems and complex integration and test activities with 2+ years of experience. Must be experienced and skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Must possess strength, stamina, and dexterity to perform strenuous assignments at times.\nMust have excellent communication and collaborative skills, organized, detailed oriented, and dedicated to following and complying with procedures including: Military & Aerospace compliance standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required.
