If you’re looking for a team that takes big creative swings and doesn’t settle for less than excellent, keep reading.\nROLE OVERVIEW\nWe’re looking for a Booking Manager to expand the reach of our artists and production properties. Our bookings include symphony and orchestra performances, artist concerts, keynotes and other speaking engagements, college and university programs, and book tours. You’ll bring trusted buyer and presenter relationships, lead the sales process, and help shape which markets we pursue.\nWorking directly with our founder, you’ll have a voice in positioning our offerings and developing our booking business. The role offers part-time employment with commission and the potential to grow into a full-time, exclusive role.\nWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE\nYour relationships and outreach produce profitable bookings and reach new audiences.\nA clear sales pipeline supports realistic forecasts and timely decisions.\nSuccessful engagements strengthen presenter relationships and lead to repeat business.\nWHO YOU ARE\nYou understand what makes an artist or production property right for a buyer, audience, and season.\nYou negotiate confidently while protecting the artist’s positioning and the company’s reputation.\nYou enjoy practical work in a small team, welcome candid feedback, and handle sensitive deal information with discretion.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nBusiness development: Build new and repeat business through targeted outreach, pitches, and sustained buyer and presenter relationships.\nMarket intelligence: Shape booking priorities around presenter seasons, audience fit, and practical tour routing; bring market feedback into how we position productions and talent.\nSales + negotiation: Lead offers and negotiations on fees, scope, and rights in line with playbooks that support the artist’s positioning and the company’s commercial priorities.\nContracting + deal flow: Direct deals through contracting and confirmation, guiding the Booking Coordinator’s work, preparing proposals and agreements as needed, and coordinating delivery with Operations and production partners.\nPipeline + closeout: Manage opportunity records and forecasts, oversee each booking through payment, and develop future bookings with existing buyers.\nROLE REQUIREMENTS\nEstablished, current relationships with buyers or presenters in one or more relevant markets: performing arts centers, symphonies and pops series, theaters, colleges and universities, festivals, live events and activations, or corporate events.\nA demonstrated record of personally originating or converting opportunities and closing live engagements. You can explain your contribution and the resulting business.\nExperience with entertainment proposals, contracts, riders, holds, and negotiation, with sound judgment about a booking’s artistic, financial, and practical fit.\nClear writing, reliable follow-through, and confidence working with sales records, forecasts, and spreadsheets.\nTOOLS YOU WILL USE\nAsana, Airtable, Word/Excel, Slack, Dropbox, DocuSign, and booking tools. Experience with comparable systems is welcome.\nPLUSES\nExperience booking theater, large-format concert tours, or VIP talent.\nExperience with brand partnerships or live activations.\nADDITIONAL DETAILS\nEmployment: Part-time, hourly, nonexempt W-2 employee.\nPay: $35-$45/hour, plus commission. Starting pay reflects relevant experience and demonstrated results.\nHours: Initially approximately 15 hours per week on an agreed schedule with regular availability during Eastern business hours.\nGrowth: Potential to become a full-time, exclusive role with Dream Three as the booking business develops, based on performance and business needs.\nLocation: Remote from approved U.S. locations or hybrid NYC/LA.\nFlexibility: Occasional evening/weekend work and travel for engagements, buyer meetings, or industry events may be required.\nStart date: As soon as mutually agreed; reasonable notice periods accommodated.\nHOW TO APPLY\nApply with your résumé, a brief description of the buyer markets you know best, and one example of an engagement you personally helped secure.
