This role leads the planning, forecasting and performance insight processes, enabling informed and confident decision-making across the organisation.\nThis role is central to building a best-in-class FP&A capability, including improving our forecasting cycles, driving simplicity and accuracy in reporting, and setting the standard for effective business partnering.\nYou will partner closely with business leaders and the C-suite to provide high-quality analysis, challenge assumptions, highlight risks & opportunities, and guide the business toward achieving its strategic and financial goals.\nWhile the role has no direct reports initially, it offers clear progression into management as the team evolves.\nReports to: Head of FP&A\nLocation: Bedquarters, High Wycombe\nDepartment: Finance & Insights\nWhat you`ll be doing day-to-day :\nBudgeting, Forecasting & Planning:\nOwn and deliver the annual Budget and formal Reforecasts, consolidating a complete company view.\nOwn the monthly Forecast to Group, ensuring accurate, timely submission of results, drivers and commentary in line with Group timelines and expectations.\nLead planning cycles with clear timetables, frameworks, assumptions and stakeholder engagement.\nProvide robust challenge to business plans and performance drivers to ensure ambitious but realistic projections.\nWorking with the Finance Business Partners, maintain and develop the core forecasting models, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and aligned with business drivers.\nDevelop scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling to support strategic and operational decision-making.\nPerformance Reporting Reviews & Analysis\nLead the review of weekly and monthly performance reporting, ensuring clear, insight-led commentary\nRun monthly financial performance reviews with senior stakeholders and the Executive team.\nStrengthen commentary, insight, KPIs and forward-looking analysis within reporting packs.\nEnsure reporting is accurate, timely and aligned with a single version of the truth across the business.\nFP&A Process, Tools & Controls\nSimplify and modernise reporting processes, reducing manual work and improving financial controls.\nSupport compliance with internal and external audit requirements, including key SOX-related controls.\nChampion continuous improvement across planning, reporting and commercial analysis models.\nDrive adoption of new tools, systems and best practices within FP&A and across the finance community.\nTeam Leadership & Development\nSet the standard for Business Partnering within the team through high-quality analysis, communication and challenge.\nHelp mentor FP&A colleagues, supporting the development of skills, modelling capability and stakeholder management.\nPlay an important role in shaping the future FP&A team structure, with the expectation of managing direct reports as the function
