Work with engineering team to develop customized solutions that address specific customer requirements.\nProvide market feedback and voice of customer needs to product line management, outside sales, and engineering to influence business strategy, new product development, & sustaining engineering activities.\nSupport and execute sustaining engineering projects.\nCollaborate with the marketing team to develop technical sales materials, such as product brochures, case studies, and white papers\nQualifications/Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university \nMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in product applications engineering \nAbility to travel overnight less than 10% of the time, primarily domestic with potential for some international travel, as business needs dictate. \nDesired Characteristics:\nStrong understanding of pressure relief valves and applicable codes and standards (ASME Section XIII, ASME Section VIII-1, API 520, API 521, API 526, API 527, etc.)\nStrong mechanical aptitude for valve selection and technical sizing.\nAbility to comprehend global regulatory standards and translate to current product strengths and weaknesses.\nProven experience in project management, proposal development, or a related field, with a track record of successfully leading the development and submission of complex proposals.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.\nAbility to recognize and identify root cause of issues, and apply containment, corrective, and preventative action.\nStrong, process-based approach to problem solving.\nProficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP, sizing tools, and project management software.\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nProactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.\nDresser Utility Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
