The Logistics Coordinator position can operate in a very international environment, both in the region and with colleagues in other locations. The position is ultimately responsible for the on-time delivery of products to Drew Marine’s satellite warehouses.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nManage and monitor full and empty gas cylinder movements between customers, warehouse and refillers.\nInspect returned cylinders/products for discrepancies and report to the relevant network coordinator and follow up until closure.\nMaintain gas cylinder/local purchase products inventory in the warehouse.\nMaintain stock movement records and reconcile reports.\nMonitor stock level for empty cylinders and related products and raise purchase orders when replenishment is required.\nProcess and maintain documentation and test reports.\nCoordinate with warehouse personnel, refillers, suppliers, drivers, planners and network coordinators to ensure smooth operations.\nHandle product shortages complaint, wrong/short deliveries, damaged products and other discrepancies and report to the relevant network coordinator and follow up until closure.\nHandle import & export discrepancies and report to the relevant planner and follow up until closure.\nHandle procurement of warehouse materials and services.\nAssist with ad-hoc logistics activities.\nRequired / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:\n1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations\nFamiliarity with ADR transportation regulations\nExperience in dangerous goods logistics\nProficient with all Office software products (Word, Excel, etc.)\nMust have excellent communications skills\nMust have strong listening skills\nMust have strong problem-solving skills\nMust be detail oriented\nMust be able to work in a fast paced, time-controlled environment; ability to multi-task\nCustomer service orientation\nPrior supply chain experience a plus\nPrior JD Edwards systems experience a plus (JDE planning program) \nPrior export experience a plus (basic documentation preparation and handling)\nPrior purchasing experience a plus (transactional)\nEducation/Certifications:\nHigh School diploma/GED required\nPhysical Working Environment:\nThe position works in a climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
