We champion these efforts through partnerships, education, and events to support and celebrate our diverse workforce and networks.\nIf you require assistance or accommodation to participate in the job application process, please contact .\nPosition Summary:\nResponsible for the proper movement of finished product from production to the cooler racking for storage.\nResponsibilities:\nComplete pre-shift inspection of forklifts and submit required daily inspection paperwork.\nEnsure proper rotation of product is loaded using FIFO system.\nOperate all equipment in a safe manner including but not limited to powered or manual low-lift trucks\nInspect trailers for cleanliness based on SQF guidelines. \nEnsure all paperwork has been completed for pre/post shift activities.\nLog finished product in inventory when placed on cooler racks.\nEnsure assigned areas is cleaned and sanitized per SSO guidelines.\nEnsure utilization of dock locks when loading trucks.\nEnsure all forklifts are placed on charge before leaving for the day.\nInspect loading equipment for defects and report deficiencies to management.\nInspect trailers meet required temperature of 36 degrees before loading product.\nAssist with cycle counts, material staging, and stock transitions.\nResponsible for the distribution of product donations as requested.\nRecord and process inventory transactions of all materials (inbound, outbound stock movements within the appropriate system.\nMust be able to work overtime and weekends as required.\nUpholds and participates in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.\nThis position has responsibilities related to Food Quality and Safety.\nSupervisory:\nThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\nMinimum one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.\n A valid driver’s license and a forklift and electric pallet jack certification will be required upon job placement.\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.\nWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
