This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production equipment by performing regular lubrication and preventive maintenance tasks.\nBENEFITS: The well-being of our team members and their families is critically important to us. As part of this commitment, we offer:\n100% PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees, 50% for their dependents, paid by the Company\nA cell phone stipend\n401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more.\nLOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK’s Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.\nTYPE: Full-time, Hourly.\nCAREER PATH \nSuccessful completion of the apprenticeship program may lead to opportunities for advancement as an Electromechanical Technician, with potential career growth into senior technician roles.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment. Leverage Electro-mechanic technician support as needed \nProvide technical support to the production team, expected to be an expert packaging operator to be successful in this role \nRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. \nPerform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. \nParticipate in troubleshooting activities to diagnose and repair equipment failures or malfunctions. \nAssist in assembling and testing electrical and mechanical components. \nAdhere to company safety and quality protocols, standards, and procedures. \nParticipate in on-the-job training and classroom learning to develop a comprehensive understanding of electromechanical systems. \nKeep detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations performed, including any parts consumed \nMaintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in an organized and safe manner. \nAssist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs. \nRepair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility \nModify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with DrinkPAK’s defined processes \nAssist in upgrading existing systems to improve performance and efficiency. \nWork independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner \nKeep alert for safety issues and escalate immediately \nMay fill in for production operator, as needed \nUnderstand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation \nResponds promptly and honors commitments to internal and external customers \nMakes recommendations to continuously improve policies, methods, procedures, and/or products \nPersonal Protective Equipment is to be used where required \nRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job to ensure equipment and facility uptime \nTrain production operators as needed \nPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without prior notice.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (required). \nBasic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles. \nStrong interest in learning about electromechanical systems. \nGood problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in a team environment. \nAbility to follow instructions and work under the guidance of Electromechanical technicians. \nBasic math and computer skills. \nManual dexterity and ability to work with hand and power tools. \nA desire to complete a formal apprenticeship program and gain industry certifications. \nExperience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or canning industries is preferred \nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments \nExperience with the following technologies: \nVariable frequency drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motor \nRotary equipment such as a rotary press or filler \nThermodynamics, heat transfer, or plastics processing \nKrones or Techniblend equipment \nHVAC including chillers and/or air compressors \nDemonstrates adaptability by reacting appropriately to unexpected changes in situations or circumstances \nBasic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook \nAbility to read and interpret schematics for trouble shooting; electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic. Ability to read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams \nSkilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools \nSkilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding (mig, tig or stick) preferred \nSkilled in the repair of variable frequency drives, servo motors and controllers, communication systems (asi-bus, can-bus, profi-bus, ethernet), PLC input/output cards, and safety modules preferred \nProficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges \nWillingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of plant or machine center \nWill need to utilize personal toolbox and personal basic tools \nSafety, continuous improvement and solutions driven mindset \nBilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.\nOUR VALUES\nOur company’s culture is guided by our shared values of Speed, Intensity, and Purpose.
