This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production equipment by performing regular lubrication and preventive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machinery lubrication, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.\nBENEFITS: The well-being of our team members and their families is critically important to us. As part of this commitment, we offer:\n100% PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees, 50% for their dependents, paid by the Company.\n\nA cell phone stipend\n\n401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more\n\nLOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK’s Texas Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.\nTYPE: Full-time, Hourly.\nCAREER PATH\nSuccessful completion of the apprenticeship program may lead to opportunities for advancement as an Electromechanical Technician, with potential career growth into senior technician roles.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nLubrication Maintenance:\nPerform scheduled lubrication tasks on production machinery, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and to prevent wear.\n\nMonitor and maintain proper lubrication levels and adjust as needed according to manufacturer specifications.\n\nKeep detailed records of lubrication activities and make recommendations for improvement. \n\nPreventive Maintenance:\nConduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.\n\nTroubleshoot and repair minor mechanical failures, electrical issues, or other problems affecting equipment performance.\n\nFollow and update preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment usage and manufacturer recommendations. \n\nEquipment Monitoring:\nRegularly inspect production equipment for signs of wear, corrosion, or malfunction.\n\nUtilize predictive maintenance tools and techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography) to assess equipment health.\n\nPerform cleaning and calibration of machinery as part of the preventive maintenance program. \n\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nMaintain accurate logs of all preventive maintenance and lubrication activities, including parts replaced, tasks completed, and any follow-up actions needed.\n\nProvide reports to the Maintenance Supervisor on equipment conditions, maintenance issues, and any potential improvements.\n\nWrite corrective work orders to fix any issues that cannot be resolved. \n\nSafety Compliance:\nAdhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.\n\nUse proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure work areas are safe and organized.\n\nEnsure all maintenance activities comply with food safety standards and industry regulations. \n\nCollaboration and Communication:\nWork closely with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.\n\nCommunicate effectively with team members and management to ensure timely completion of tasks and resolve any operational concerns.\n\nPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required ofthe employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without prior notice.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred.\n\nAt least 2 years’ experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or food/beverage production environment.\n\nKnowledge of lubrication systems, machinery maintenance, and industrial equipment.\n\nFamiliarity with preventive maintenance programs and practices.\n\nFamiliarity with computer maintenance management system (CMMS) programs and practices.\n\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance logs.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nBasic understanding of electrical systems and ability to perform minor electrical repairs is a plus.\n\nAbility to operate hand and power tools safely.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.\n\nFlexible to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.\n\nOUR VALUES\nOur company’s culture is guided by our shared values of Speed, Intensity, and Purpose.
