Drive your success at DrinkPAK, where we refresh, hydrate and nourish the world and our employees alike.\nBase Hourly Compensation Range: $35 - $45\nSHIFT: Must be willing to work night shift; 12 hours per day, 2/2/3 Schedule\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION: The Electro-Mechanical Technician ensures equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair. Equipment includes Fillers, Seamers, Pasteurizers, Sleevers, Packers, Palletizers, Conveyors, and Stretch Wrappers. Performs troubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as Chillers, Air Compressors, Reverse Osmosis systems, Boilers, other water filtration equipment, and general plant maintenance. Works directly with machine Operators, Supervisors, and Preventative Maintenance Mechanics to resolve mechanical issues that arise during the shift. Proposes solutions to complex and recurring problems on production equipment to Management to resolve issues.\nBENEFITS: The well-being of our team members and their families is critically important to us. As part of this commitment, we offer:\n100% PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees, 50% for their dependents, paid by the Company\nA cell phone stipend\n\n401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more\n\nLOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK’s Texas Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.\nTYPE: Full-time, Hourly.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment.\n\nRepair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility\n\nModify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with DrinkPAK’s defined processes.\n\nMaintain industrial control systems.\n\nWork independently and with other team members to safely and timely complete repairs.\n\nKeep alert for safety issues and escalate immediately.\n\nMay fill in for production operator, as needed.\n\nCreate and report repairs throughout the shift.\n\nComplete required work order paperwork and document parts and material usage.\n\nUnderstand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation.\n\nRespond promptly and honor commitments to internal and external customers.\n\nRecommend continuously improving policies, methods, procedures, and/or products.\n\nPersonal Protective Equipment is to be used where required.\n\nRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job to ensure equipment and facility uptime.\n\nPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without prior notice.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation, or other similar manufacturing-relatedspecialization.\n\nAt least 4-6 years of experience in a similar position; 4-6 years of experience preferred in a Field or similar manufacturing environment; 4-6 years of experience managing projects.\n\nExperience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or canning industries preferred.\n\nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments.\n\nExperience with the following technologies:\n\nVariable frequency drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motors.\n\nRotary equipment such as rotary press or filler.\n\nThermodynamics, heat transfer, or plastics processing.\n\nKrones or Techniblend equipment.\n\nHVAC, including chillers and/or air compressors.\n\nDemonstrates adaptability by reacting appropriately to unexpected changes in situations or circumstances.\n\nBasic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\n\nAbility to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic. Ability to read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams.\n\nSkilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools.\n\nSkilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding (mig, tig, or stick) preferred.\n\nSkilled in the repair of variable frequency drives, servo motors, and controllers, communication systems (asi-bus, can-bus, profi-bus, ethernet), PLC input/output cards, and safety modules preferred.\n\nProficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges.\n\nWillingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of the plant or machine center.\n\nWill need to utilize a personal toolbox and personal basic tools.\n\nSafety, continuous improvement, and solutions-driven mindset.\n\nBilingual (English & Spanish) preferred but not required.\n\nOUR VALUES\nOur company’s culture is guided by our shared values of Speed, Intensity, and Purpose.
