As part of this commitment, we offer:\nPPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees AND their dependents, 100% paid by the Company\nA cell phone stipend\nAnnual discretionary bonus\n401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more\nLOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK’s Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.\nTYPE: Full Time; Salaried / Exempt\nLOCATION: The position is based on-site at DrinkPAK's facility in Santa Clarita, California.\nTYPE: Full Time; Salaried / Exempt\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nProcess bi-weekly payroll for approximately 450 employees in Southern California\nReview timecards daily for missing punches, missing supervisor notes, tardies, missed shifts, etc. to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing every two weeks\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting\nPrepare and analyze payroll reports, presenting findings to Payroll Manager\nInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries professionally and efficiently\nMaintain payroll records and prepare reports on payroll activities for management review\nInitiate Off-Cycle payments, as needed\nCollaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and financial reporting\nMonitor changes and remain current on legal, regulatory, or governmental requirements (wage & hour, garnishments, 401(k), etc.)\nEnsure employees and supervisors approve timecards by the deadline each pay period to ensure timely payroll processing\nEnsure accurate data entry in payroll system\nProcess and monitor garnishment orders\nPerform ad hoc assignments and special projects as assigned\nPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without prior notice.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred\nAtleast 1-2 years of experience in California payroll processing or accounting roles\nAtleast 6 months to 1 year of experience in Workday Payroll, Time Tracking & Absence required\nFundamental Payroll Professional (FPP) designation is preferred, but not required\nBilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred\nMust be comfortable working in an open workspace / bullpen\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\nWell-organized, detail-oriented, and strong ability to multi-task\nKnowledge of IRS and various state regulations regarding payroll and accounting reconciliations/auditing techniques preferred\nAbility to meet deadlines & maintains a “right the first-time” mentality\nAdvanced experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software applications\nContinuous improvement mindset\nOUR VALUES\nOur company’s culture is guided by our shared values of Speed, Intensity, and Purpose.
