This position leverages market research, data analysis, and strategic sourcing methodologies to assess supplier capabilities, monitor performance, and develop actionable insights that support business goals. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, the Sourcing Analyst supports supplier negotiations, procurement activities, purchase order management, reporting, and analytics while ensuring supplier compliance and service excellence. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of supply chain principles, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nMain Activities/Responsibilities:\nConduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and service offerings.\nAnalyze procurement and sourcing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement in sourcing strategies.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives that align with the business objectives.\nDevelop, improve, and monitor supplier performance metrics and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.\nPrepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and sourcing strategies to stakeholders.\nSupport negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions while maintaining quality and service standards.\nProcurement activities to include but not limited to PO placement, date management, BO review, weekly and monthly reports and analytics.\nCompetencies:\nProficiency in using ERP systems, data visualization and/or other procurement software and tools for data analytics and reporting.\nStrong understanding of supply chain management principles and methodologies.\nStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.\nDetail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.\nAbility to foster positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nReporting Relationships and Supervision:\nThis position will report directly to the Director of Sourcing and Procurement and will not have direct reports. \nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analysis.\nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel or similar software.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.\nPreferred experience working in a corporate, or manufacturing, procurement/sourcing environment.\nPreferred familiarity with supplier relationship management and performance evaluation techniques.\nPreferred knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sourcing and procurement.\nWhy Apply to Drive DeVilbiss…\n Competitive Benefits, Paid Time Off, 401(k) Savings Plan. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, education, as well as the company’s requirements.
