Then we would like to hear from you!\nAbout the Role:\nYou’ll contribute hands-on to the development of a companion app for the new generation of Honda and Acura brands. Applications you develop will target Android and iOS, and will communicate with modules of the car through various protocols over the network and Bluetooth.\nWe’re looking for someone who has a strong sense of ownership of product features and quality, is enthusiastic about trying new technologies, and does not hesitate to do whatever it takes to get things done, even if outside your usual responsibility area.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop a vehicle companion app on iOS with a Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) core and native SwiftUI views\n\nProvide guidance and support across the app feature stack, including the Android app and the server layer\n\nPartner with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and peers across Honda\n\nEngage in discussions and contribute ideas to product definitions and designs\n\nWork with the team to troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.\n\nSupport engineering development lifecycle processes in a highly regulated and safety-oriented industry\n\nBuild prototypes to validate the feasibility of challenging requirements and to test new ideas\n\nDrive company vehicles to support hands-on product development, testing, and real-world validation\n\nGet behind the wheel for competitive analysis, benchmarking, and helping shape the next generation of our products\n\nQualifications:\nBS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)\n\nTeam player with a positive attitude and who is committed to continuously improving the team, the product, and the company\n\nExperience creating readable, thoughtful, and maintainable code\n\nExperience utilizing dependency injection, asynchronous programming, and multi-threading, particularly around structured concurrency\n\nA passion for exploring and adopting new technologies and mobile development best practices\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience in the Automotive
