This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to provide actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of enterprise-wide financial plans.\n\nThis role requires an initiative-taking self-starter who can quickly establish credibility, lead complex financial processes, manage and develop team members, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, advanced financial modeling capabilities, and a proven ability to influence across functions.\nHow you will Own It:\n\nForecasting & Planning\nLead the monthly forecasting process across the organization, coordinating inputs, consolidations, analyses, and executive-level reporting.\n\nManage the annual budgeting and target-setting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial commitments.\n\nSupport long-range planning activities and evaluate financial performance against approved plans.\n\nIdentify key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and emerging trends impacting forecast accuracy.\n\nExecutive & Board ReportingPrepare monthly/quarterly financial packages and business reviews.\nSupport preparation of Board of Directors materials and assist with the company’s quarterly earnings process.\nFinancial Modeling & Strategic Analysis\nOwn and maintain enterprise three-statement forecasting models, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow projections.\n\nDevelop sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, capital allocation, and scenario planning.\n\nConduct sensitivity analyses and provide recommendations to senior leadership regarding financial and operational decisions.\n\nDevelop comprehensive business cases for strategic initiatives, investments, and operational improvements by evaluating financial impacts, risks, assumptions, and expected returns.\n\nTeam Leadership & Process Improvement\nManage, mentor, and develop two high-performing FP&A professionals.\n\nEstablish clear expectations, provide coaching, and support professional growth of team members.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives within forecasting, planning, reporting, and financial systems.\n\nPromote best practices in financial modeling, analytics, and business partnership across the finance organization.\n\nLead cross-functional data integration initiatives and reporting automation efforts, transforming fragmented data sources into scalable, self-service reporting capabilities.\n\nWhat you’ll Bring:\n\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.\n\n8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, Consulting, or related disciplines; OR advanced degree (MBA, CPA) and six years of experience\n\n2+ years of experience managing and developing finance professionals.\n\nAdvanced financial modeling and forecasting experience, including three-statement modeling.\n\nDemonstrated experience leading annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning processes.\n\nExperience in presenting financial analyses to senior executives.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.\n\nAdded Fuel if you have: \n\nThe successful candidate will:\n\nBe a self-starter who requires limited direction and quickly becomes productive.\n\nPossess strong executive presence and communication skills.\n\nDemonstrate ownership, accountability, and a bias toward action.\n\nThrive in ambiguous situations and effectively prioritize competing demands.\n\nBuild strong cross-functional relationships and influence decision-making.\n\nBalance strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.\n\nServe as a leader who develops talent while delivering results.\n\nApplicants for our positions are considered without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, religion, military or veteran status, or any other characteristics protected by law.\n\nDBCORPPosition Location:\nNorth CarolinaCompensation Range:\n$131,000.00 - $233,900.00Compensation Frequency:\nAnnualBase pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
