This role blends hands-on system administration with modern DevOps practices, focusing on building, automating, and operating scalable hybrid environments across on-prem and cloud platforms.\nIf you are passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and improving developer productivity while maintaining robust and secure enterprise systems - we want to hear from you!\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, build, and operate scalable infrastructure across on-prem environments and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).\nManage and evolve virtualization platforms such as VMware and KVM (Proxmox).\nImplement and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.\nOwn identity and access management solutions including Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and directory synchronization.\nManage enterprise endpoint solutions such as Microsoft Intune and MobileIron/IVANTI.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational workflows.\nBuild and maintain internal tools to improve developer experience and engineering productivity.\nEnsure system reliability, performance, and cost optimization across cloud and on-prem environments.\nMaintain high security standards, compliance, and operational best practices.\nCollaborate closely with DevOps, R&D, Security, and IT teams to support development and production environments.\nDevelop and maintain clear technical documentation. \nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in DevOps / IT Infrastructure / System Engineering roles in global hi-tech environments.\nStrong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).\nProven experience with VMware / Nutanix / KVM environments.\nExperience with Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle management.\nStrong Linux administration skills.\nSolid scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar).\nExperience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform - advantage).\nFamiliarity with networking concepts: firewalls, VPNs, switches, WiFi, NAC, ZTNA (FortiGate - advantage).\nExperience with enterprise MDM solutions (Microsoft Intune, MobileIron/IVANTI).\nHands-on experience with backup solutions such as Commvault Metallic, Veeam, or Commvault.\nAbility to work in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.\nBusiness-level English (written and spoken).\nAdvantages:\nExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.\nRelevant certifications (AWS/Azure Architect, RHCE, CCNA, MCSA).\nAdvanced networking knowledge (routing, switching, VPNs).\nExperience with large-scale networking, telco, or cloud infrastructure environments.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong service orientation and communication skills.\nIndependent problem solver with a proactive mindset.\nTeam player with excellent time management skills.\nMore about DriveNets\nBased in Israel with locations in Romania, US, India and Japan as well as extended teams, DriveNets operations cover more than twelve countries.
