Rooted in our core values of Safety, Expertise, Engagement, Caring and Motivating, and Professionalism, we distinguish ourselves through our commitment to quality, our stellar reputation, and our wealth of experience.\nJob purpose\nThe Senior Instructor works with the Lead Instructor(s) and/or Center Manager to provide superior instruction, review instructor in-car videos, train new instructors, support car and camera maintenance needs, build instructor camaraderie and maintain the professionalism of the Center.\nJob details\nThis is an hourly position with the candidate's choice of weekly hours between 30 to 40 hours per week. This position is considered full-time for health benefits eligibility. The starting pay range for this position will be $24-$25 hourly depending on DriveSafe experience. This position has room for growth and advancement. Senior Instructors with good performance after 1-2 annual performance review cycles may be eligible for promotion to Lead Instructor, which is a salaried position eligible for additional pay, bonuses and other benefits.\nResponsibilities\nOngoing BTW, Drive Testing, DSD Field Management and/or Classroom Instruction, if qualified for Classroom (80% Direct Contact Time)\n\nCheck upcoming drive schedules one to two weeks out to identify potential car or instructor issues\n\nDevelop expertise in camera management and video downloading. Support needs to keep all cameras in working order and video downloaded properly.\n\nReview BTW Instructor videos to identify strengths and improvement areas\n\nIdentify and work with team to make sure all car maintenance and safety issues are handled\n\nTrain new instructors as needed to ensure high quality BTW service delivery\n\nHelp with new Instructor walk-throughs and auditions as requested\n\nCheck instructor paperwork at the end of the day to identify issues\n\nWork with instructors on DRIVES and paperwork issues proactively\n\nWork with Lead and/or Center Manager to improve systems for the Center and instructors\n\nEncourage a team environment by working closely with instructors.\n\nAssist with team meetings\n\nPromote the company to nearby schools or handle yard signage or flyering as requested.\n\nSupport Center needs to keep the center organized and neat.\n\nBe flexible to help with Center emergencies or instructor issues.\n\nOther duties and responsibilities as needed.\n\nQualifications\nThreshold DriveSafe experience:\n1 year or 500 drives/1000 student contact hours\n\nState Certified Drive Tester\n\n30 hours plus per week work schedule\n\nDSD Field Manager or Classroom Instructor Trained\n\nDemonstrated high level BTW instructional skills\n\nSolid computer skills with knowledge of Google Maps\n\nGood communication skills\n\nResponsible, dependable, and detail oriented\n\nSelf-disciplined and able to multi-task\n\nMust have a clean Colorado Driver's License\n\nBenefits\nHealth Insurance: Eligibility to participate in the company’s group health plan, dental, vision, long term disability and basic life effective the first day of the month following 60 days of employment or part-time to full-time date.\n\nHealthy Workplace Time: 1 hour of paid sick time for each 30 hours worked accrued each pay period up to 12 days per year.\n\n401k Retirement Benefit: Employees age 21 and up who have completed 12 months of employment and 1000 hours worked may participate in the company’s 401k retirement benefit to which the company contributes a match of up to 4% of the employee’s wages.\n\nEmployee discount program and employee referral program\n\nWhat to expect in the hiring process\nWe acknowledge that applying for a new position can be a significant investment of time and energy.
