That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short the Employee Engagement Program Manager plays a key role in shaping meaningful moments across the employee lifecycle by managing new hire and employee programming, key touchpoints throughout the employee lifecycle, and the organization’s community giving program. This role ensures employees feel welcomed, valued, and connected to the company’s culture from day one.

In long, the Employee Engagement Program Manageris responsible for:

• Develop and manage employee engagement programs that support key lifecycle moments

• Own end-to-end program planning, project management, communications, logistics, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

• Maintain a company-wide programming calendar to coordinate timing and avoid overlap across initiatives

• Serve as a culture ambassador and subject matter expert on employee engagement initiatives

• Track and report program KPIs to measure effectiveness and inform future planning

• Continuously evaluate and refine existing programs based on employee feedback, engagement data, and business needs

• Manage partner relationships with various community organizations

• Stay current on employee engagement trends and benchmark against industry best practices to bring new ideas forward

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development to align with broader people strategy.

SoWhat Kind of Folks Are We Looking for?

• Experience with employee engagement programming

• Project management and budget management skills

• Event planning and logistics coordination experience

• Able to program/project management across multiple concurrent initiatives

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The Specifics

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field

• 3-4 years of experience in employee engagement, HR programs, or related program/project management roles

Physical Demands

The Physical demands described within are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 75% of the time.

• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.

• Frequently communicate with internal and external customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

• This position could require moving objects up to 20 pounds.
