You will build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external partners around the country.\nIn long, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for:\nManage day to day responsibilities while managing costs, time efficiencies, and delivering a high-level of customer service to both internal and external customers\nExhibit sound logic and problem-solving skills in day-to-day tasks\nDispatcher for inbound, outbound, and reverse inventory moves\nCoordinate and follow up on all transportation requests to ensure service level agreements are met.\nEnforce standards with DriveTime’s preferred carriers\nServe as the liaison between DriveTime’s internal partners and carriers.\nManages assigned Transport VivaDesk Tickets\nUtilize a variety of software for tracking progress, maintaining records and performing research.\nResearch and update leadership on aged allocations (outbound inventory)\nCommunicate effectively in person, phone, and email\nThe Specifics.\nHigh School Degree required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.\nStrong communication and negotiation skills are required to build and maintain business relationships.\nStrong background in business processes, decision making, and working in a result-driven environment.\nStrong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills.\nSo What About the Perks?
