You can find us at the intersection of technology and innovation as we use our proprietary tools and over two decades of industry knowledge to redefine the process of purchasing, financing, and protecting your vehicle.\nThat’s Nice, But What’s the Job?\nIn short, as the Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for preparing and processing data for multiple companies in multiple states using WORKDAYpayroll system.\nIn long, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for:\nRun daily, weekly, and monthly reports.\n\nReview and audit incoming employee data from Self Service and Onboarding systems.\n\nRespond to questions, research discrepancies, and resolve pay issues.\n\nCalculate retroactive pay adjustments.\n\nVerify and audit information prior to payroll transmission.\n\nProcess manual checks when necessary.\n\nAdvise and mentor team members regarding complex payroll issues.\n\nResolve payroll, timekeeping and tax-related issues.\n\nAnswer help-desk tickets.\n\nSo What Kind of Folks Are We Looking for?\nOperate autonomously. DriveTime is here to serve our external and internal clients always providing an exceptional experience.\n\nThe Specifics.\n3+ years of payroll experience required; payroll tax knowledge desired.\n\nModerate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience.\n\nBasic knowledge of multi state payroll laws.\n\nExperience working in multiple systems in a high-volume environment.\n\nMust have experience with and demonstrate superb customer service with an emphasis on phone skills.\n\nAny equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.\n\nNice to Haves.\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\n\n1 year of Workday Payroll experience\n\nSo What About the Perks?
