Whip is seeking a Fleet Associate to help manage our rideshare vehicle fleet and ensure our drivers stay on the road.\nAs a Fleet Associate, you’ll play a key role in maintaining vehicle readiness, coordinating logistics, and supporting day-to-day fleet operations. You’ll help ensure that cars are clean, well-maintained, and ready for our drivers - keeping everything organized and efficient.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following):\nVehicle Management - Assist with vehicle check-ins, inspections, and readiness to ensure top performance.\nBasic Maintenance & Upkeep - Conduct routine vehicle checks, clean interiors, and ensure all cars are road-ready.\nInventory & Documentation - Keep track of vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and key documentation.\nFleet Coordination - Work closely with the service and operations teams to optimize fleet availability.\nQualifications Required:\nPassion for cars and mobility - You love keeping vehicles in top shape.\nDetail-oriented & organized - You stay on top of schedules, paperwork, and vehicle conditions.\nHands-on & proactive - You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.\nStrong communication skills - You work well with drivers, mechanics, and management.\nValid driver’s license - You may need to move vehicles or assist with deliveries.\nPhysical Demands:\nVehicle Handling: Regularly operate, move, and park vehicles of various sizes (sedans, SUVs, etc.) safely and efficiently.\nInspection & Maintenance: Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, or reach to inspect vehicle interiors, tires, and undercarriages.\nLifting & Carrying: Occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds, such as vehicle equipment, tools, or supplies.\nOutdoor Work: Work in a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) when performing outdoor fleet tasks.\nStanding & Walking: Spend extended periods standing, walking between vehicles, and moving around the lot or service areas.\nManual Dexterity: Use hands and tools to perform light maintenance or cleaning tasks as needed.\nLocation: Glen Burnie, MD (required)\nSalary: $18 - $25 per hour; depending on experience.\nEqual Employment Opportunity:\nWhip is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
