As stewards of our company, you will be responsible for awarding every customer with a positive rental experience.\nPosition Summary: Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with vehicles and keeping operations running smoothly? Whip is seeking a Fleet Associate to help manage our rideshare vehicle fleet and ensure our drivers stay on the road.\nAs a Lead Fleet Associate, you’ll play a key role in maintaining vehicle readiness, coordinating logistics, and supporting day-to-day fleet operations. You’ll help ensure that cars are clean, well-maintained, and ready for our drivers - keeping everything organized and efficient.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following) :\nConduct routine vehicle checks, clean interiors, and ensure all cars are road-ready.\nEnsure all workflows regarding vehicle check-ins and check-outs are executed flawlessly.\nServe as an escalation point for complex vehicle issues reported by drivers, ensuring quick resolution to keep them on the road.\nMaintain 100% accuracy of vehicle status in our fleet software. You will be responsible for verifying physical inventory and coordinating vehicle movement without onsite oversight.\nMaintain constant communication with central operations and support teams via digital channels (slack, email, etc.).\nAct as the local decision-maker for third-party relationships, ensuring local mechanics, body shops, and parking vendors adhere to our SLAs and quality standards.\nQualifications Required:\nPassion for cars and mobility - You love keeping vehicles in top shape.\nDetail-oriented & organized - You stay on top of schedules, paperwork, and vehicle conditions.\nHands-on & proactive - You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.\nStrong communication skills - You work well with drivers, mechanics, and management.\nValid driver’s license - You may need to move vehicles or assist with deliveries.\nPhysical Demands:\nVehicle Handling: Regularly operate, move, and park vehicles of various sizes (sedans, SUVs, etc.) safely and efficiently.\nInspection & Maintenance: Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, or reach to inspect vehicle interiors, tires, and undercarriages.\nLifting & Carrying: Occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds, such as vehicle equipment, tools, or supplies.\nOutdoor Work: Work in a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) when performing outdoor fleet tasks.\nStanding & Walking: Spend extended periods standing, walking between vehicles, and moving around the lot or service areas.\nManual Dexterity: Use hands and tools to perform light maintenance or cleaning tasks as needed.\nLocation: Boston (in-person, required)\nSalary: $18 - $30 per hour; depending on experience.\nEqual Employment Opportunity:\nWhip is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
