You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your models and dashboards directly influence real capital allocation decisionsnot just reviewed but acted upon.\n\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nAnnual Operating Plan (AOP): \nOwn the end-to-end AOP process across all business verticals.\nWork with operations, sales, marketing, and tech to build bottom-up budgets.\nTrack actuals vs. plan and publish monthly variance commentary with actionable insights.\nFlag budget overruns early and recommend corrective levers to leadership.\n\nRolling Forecasts and Scenario Planning: \nPrepare monthly rolling cash forecasts and quarterly reforecasts.\nBuild scenario models based on bull and bear for leadership and board reviews.\nProvide investor-ready variance commentary with forward-looking views.\nStress-test financial plans against key business risks and macro variables.\n\nFinancial Modeling: \nBuild dynamic models for vehicle inventory economics, reconditioning cost, take-rate, and warranty liability.\nSimulate the impact of pricing changes on Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and net margin.\nEvaluate ROI on new city/store expansions and technology investments.\nDevelop sensitivity analyses to support strategic and capital allocation decisions.\n\nMIS and Management Reporting: \nPrepare board packs, investor dashboards, and weekly/monthly MIS.\nDrive cohort-level analysis of city-wise EBITDA, channel profitability, and vehicle contribution margin.\nPublish performance scorecards for senior leadership with a clear business narrative.\nAutomate recurring reports through ERP and BI tool integration.\n\nBusiness Partnering: \nPartner with Sales, Procurement, and Operations to identify cost arbitrage opportunities.\nProvide financial perspective to business decisions: hiring, capex, new verticals.\nTranslate financial data into business language for non-finance stakeholders.\nAct as a trusted advisor to BU heads on financial planning and target setting.\n\nWorking Capital and Unit Economics: \nMonitor Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) and drive faster cycle times.\nTrack burn rate, cash runway, and working capital efficiency on a weekly basis.\nSupport treasury and financing decisions with analytical inputs and projections.\nIdentify and flag working capital leakages across procurement, logistics, and collections.\n\nRequirements: \nCA (1st or 2nd attempt) or MBA in finance from a reputed institution.\nExperience supporting investor reporting or fundraising processes.\n5 -
